Ahmad bin 'Alee an-Neesaabooree (Nishapuri), who died in 468 H/1076 CE, was one of the most prominent fifth/eleventh century scholars of tafseer. He is most well-known for his book, Kitaab Asbaab Nuzool il-Qur'aan (The Book of Reasons for the Revelation of the Qur'aan). In this book, he examines the circumstances behind the revelation of selected verses of the Qur'aan. This translation is part of Neesaabooriee's book, and this translation covers the first four sections (singular: juz) of the Qur'aan.
